Four steps
1. Tell us about the problem. Use the contact form to ask for a callback. Tell us your city and when you'd like the car looked at. When the shop calls, have the details ready: year, make, model and mileage, what you're noticing and when it happens. 2. We pass your request to one shop. Your request goes to the single independent local repair shop serving your territory. We don't sell it to a list of shops, and we don't auction it. 3. The shop diagnoses the vehicle. They contact you directly to arrange a time, because nobody can quote a repair responsibly without diagnosing it. 4. You get an estimate directly from them. The shop gives you a written estimate. Whether to go ahead, and on what terms, is between you and them. We're not a party to that agreement.
What we are, and what we aren't
Get Auto Repair Pros is an independent directory. We don't repair vehicles, employ mechanics or supervise anyone's work. We don't inspect shops or evaluate registrations, qualifications, insurance or workmanship, so check those yourself before you approve work.
What we do with your details
We share your name, number, city and timeframe with one independent local shop so they can contact you, and with no one else. We don't sell your information. See our privacy policy.
For local shops
Get Auto Repair Pros works with one independent repair shop per territory. A shop that works with us receives the requests from that territory directly.
Technicians spend the day under hoods and on lifts, and a ringing phone at the service counter often goes unanswered. Shops can add an optional answering and text module: calls to the territory number are answered live under the shop's brand, the caller's vehicle details and the problem are taken down, the caller gets a text confirmation from Get Auto Repair Pros saying their details have been logged and when to expect a callback, and the shop gets the details by text and email right away.
We don't promise any shop a number of calls, leads, jobs, rankings or revenue. If you run an independent repair shop in one of our cities and want to talk about a territory, use the contact form and say so.
